Calling method: sync Edit an existing image by providing a source image and a text-based instruction (prompt), or by providing a source image and a structured_instruction. Optionally, you can provide a mask to edit only specific areas of the image. The endpoint first translates your instruction (if provided) into a structured_instruction JSON using Gemini 2.5 Flash, then uses that JSON to perform the final, deterministic edit.
